The Story Behind The Hermes Robe Legere Embroidered Scarf
Hermès has released a limited piece scarf that has takes over 45 hours to make. The Robe Legere Embroidered Scarf is made from the finest silk and then hand embroidered with glass micro-beads, providing a unique finish. The limited edition Robe Legere scarf has been designed to be the perfect evening scarf. The scarf comes in Noir (Black) silk and is embroidered with Bleu (Blue) micro-beads.
The Story Behind The Robe Legere Scarf
The scarf is designed by Theo de Gueltzl an artist born in Paris who found his way into the art world through illustration. Gueltzl studied at Central Saint Martins in London from which he graduated in 2014. Soon after his graduation he formed a strong relationship with Hermès. Over the past few years he has worked with them on their illustrations. Gueltzl is inspired by landscapes and exploring where we find ourselves between the two worlds.
The new Robe Legere Scarf naturally combines the association of Hermès and equestrianism with Gueltzl’s love for nature. The scarf features an illustration of a horse which is elegantly rearing up to show off his coat made from embroidered flowers and leaves. The flowers and leaves captivate the elegance of the horse and highlight his beautiful figure. This scarf is a piece of equestrian artwork.
