The Arceau is one of Hermès' signature watch designs, drawn by Henri d'Origny in 1978 and instantly recognisable for its asymmetric, stirrup-inspired lugs and the slanted calligraphic numerals that lean into the bracelet. The Grande Lune dresses that architecture with one of the most poetic complications in watchmaking: a triple calendar arrangement and a generously sized moonphase aperture that draws the eye straight to the centre of the dial.
