Shop the Hermès Rewilding Nature scarf 90 in Rose, Vert and Bleu. Designed by Alice Shirley and made in France from 100% silk twill with hand-rolled edges, the scarf gives each of its four corners to a different landscape. A forest, a coastline, a heath and a freshwater glade, all returned to their own rhythm and left free of human intervention.

Shirley drew on rewilding sites she visited in the United Kingdom, and the design celebrates the resurgence of wildlife and the return of species long absent. Her drawing rewards close looking, with flora and fauna rendered at the precision of a natural history plate but arranged with the looseness of a real landscape rather than a specimen page.

The pink-led version is the warmest and most romantic of the three. Rose lifts the greens and blues into something softer and more spring-like, and it reads beautifully against neutrals, cream and denim. In the classic 90 format it knots at the neck, wraps the head, ties to a bag handle or drapes open across the shoulders.
